Mailchimp and Shopify breaks up, what do I do now?

It has been almost three weeks since MailChimp and Shopify announced their breakup. Both sides have something to say about the divorce, but what’s important is we, the users, try to move on as quick as we can. We have up to May 12, 2019 until the integration stops working.

1. Use a Third-party App to connect Shopify and Mailchimp.

You can use  ShopSync, Zapier, and Automate.io to do this. Check out Mailchimp’s overview of features for these third-party apps here and find the best one which is well-suited for you.

2. Switch to Klaviyo or another Email Service Provider (ESP)

We have been using Klaviyo for years and our clients have nothing but high praises for them. With Klaviyo,

You are joining a large community of over 100,000 merchants like Bonobos, Brooklinen, Chubbies, and Taylor Stitch who have all grown using Klaviyo. Our experience working with growth focused brands drives a unique approach to segmentation, product recommendations, and expected date of next purchase, all designed to help you grow. In fact, over 4,900 Mailchimp customers switched over to Klaviyo last year and saw an average increase of over 45% in total store revenue.

Klaviyo’s one-click integration has made migration from MailChimp to Klaviyo quick and effortless and of course, WE CAN DO IT FOR YOU.

THE BOTTOM LINE

If sticking with MailChimp is something you prefer, the breakup won’t be that much of a big deal. You can still connect your Shopify store. But if you want to switch and make the most of our email marketing strategies and automation, now is the perfect time to give Klaviyo a try.
